Another year older, another year wiser...(rp for <user site="livejournal.com" user="wreckinreckless"
NOTE: Backdated to yesterday night.
After her night with the family, both parents and siblings together, she managed to get home in enough time to change...and then see CJ out the door so she could finish getting ready for her date. If she could call it that, anyway, being that she'd never met the man in question in person.
Something about him got to her, though. The coarse way he talked, then the equally brusque yet sweet gesture of sending her a dress and all but telling her they were going to have dinner. He was challenging her to a lot, and she was strangely thrilled by the idea of rising to meet it.
The dress itself fit like a dream. She had to assume that he got her measurements from the magazine, and got lucky with having exceptional taste. She liked the way it looked and felt on her, and didn't bother with much more jewelry than the gaudy set that Cadence had given her. It didn't exactly match the outfit, but Anne hardly cared. She adored the gift and wanted to show it off...especially with the man coming to pick her up.
Adding a touch of makeup to the outfit, she slid her feet into a pair of low heels and set to work switching from her usual purse to the small black clutch she'd decided to use for the evening. She had no idea how punctual Leo was, but in the back of her head she was hoping he was even a little early.
She was really looking forward to meeting him.
